
Welcome to the dedicated community consultation page on Logicor Logistics 101 Limited (Logicor)'s proposals to develop its site on Lester Road, Little Hulton.
We are a leading European owner and manager of logistics real estate that owns, manages and develops high quality logistics assets across Europe, addressing the real estate needs of international and local distributors, retailers and manufacturers. With a portfolio of 591 high-quality properties with a lettable area of 13.4 million square metres located in key European logistics markets, we are confident of regenerating the site to fulfil a valuable role in boosting employment by providing jobs and training opportunities for the local area.
Following community engagement, a planning application was approved by the Local Planning Authority for a large-scale distribution centre and industrial unit providing national distribution services. Construction is well underway for this.
Due to the investment in the approved scheme, we have been able to progress proposals for a new smaller employment unit alongside ancillary offices, associated parking, vehicular access, landscaping and associated works on the adjacent site. As with the previous development, BREEAM excellent certification will be sought.
There will be further employment opportunities with this new development, alongside the development of the neighbouring unit.
Existing arrangements to access the site will remain.
Designs for the proposals are at a relatively early stage of development and subject to pre-application engagement with the Council. Our plan is for 24 dedicated parking spaces, including three dedicated to electric vehicles. There are also two motorcycle spaces and six covered bicycle spaces.
The existing site is in a poor state of repair and currently under-utilised brown-field land.
Presently the land is derelict and being used as makeshift parking facility for neighbouring units Although the site is small in size (circa 0.6ha) it has the potential to accommodate a small-scale employment unit which could result in valuable socio-economic benefits for the local area. The current plan is for a building of 2,137 sq m.

As with the previous application, any updated development requires feedback from the local community before submitting a planning application to Salford City Council.
